3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, on servers located in Germany. When you access the site, the host records in server log files the IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser used and the referring page. This is necessary for the secure operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); the log files are deleted at regular intervals. A data processing agreement is in place with the host.
4. Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, your name, email address, telephone number (optional) and message are sent to us by email. The data is not stored on the web server, only in our mailbox, so that we can answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete it once your request has been dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply.
5. Online booking
Online booking runs through the DIRS21 booking system of TourOnline AG, Wernau, Germany, which is embedded in our site. The data you enter there – name, address, contact details, payment details and stay details – is processed by DIRS21 on our behalf to carry out the booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and passed on to our hotel software. In addition, the DIRS21 privacy notice shown during the booking process applies.
6. Google Maps
The map is loaded only when you click "Load map". Only then is data, including your IP address, transmitted to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; Google may transfer data to the USA. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We remember your consent in your browser's local storage; you can delete it at any time via your browser data.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use only technically necessary cookies and entries in your browser's local storage: the selected language, confirmation of the notice banner, your consent to the map and, for a few minutes, a marker after the contact form has been sent. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Fonts are served from our own server; no fonts are loaded from Google or other providers.
8. External links
